The new Web interface is available at: https://webirc.w3.org/ Please note that the web IRC application was changed to The Lounge (https://thelounge.chat/) as the previous application qwebirc was not maintained anymore (no support for Python3).
If you are facing accessibility issues with the Lounge we recommend that you use an IRC client directly from your computer. You can also report those on the project site - https://github.com/thelounge/thelounge

The W3C Web IRC client service (https://irc.w3.org/), used to access our IRC network thru the web, will be migrated to a new app and host on Tuesday, 26 March, starting at 08:00 UTC and will be available back at some time later that day.
Direct irc client access to our irc network wont be affected. Please keep in mind that our irc servers will also be migrated on 2024-03-26 and won't be available from 08h00-08h30 UTC.
