We will be conducting a second test of redirecting all resources on www.w3.org from http to https, for 3 days starting at 14:00 UTC on Thursday August 18.

This is a followup on our previous test, to gather more feedback in anticipation of deploying this change to our site permanently within the next few months.

Update: We ended the second test early, at 17:30 UTC Aug 19 due to several complaints that this change was impacting production services. We plan to conduct another test in two weeks, for 48 hours starting at 17:00 UTC on Sep 1, ending at 17:00 UTC Sep 3. If you have dependencies on our web site in your production services please work to remove them, or update them to handle redirections and https.
